FROM OUR FAMILY AND MUSIC MINISTER | Jesus called His followers to selfless behavior. He commanded His disciples to do things that could only be done if they relied on the power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus also commanded His believers to bless those who cursed them and pray for those who mistreated them. He even called for believers to love those who were unlovely. Jesus also taught that as believers, we are to give freely to those in need. Jesus made it clear that if we call ourselves His followers, we must treat others as we would want to be treated. Think about how our world would be different if we as believers followed the commands given to us by Jesus in Luke 6:27-37.

FROM OUR MUSIC AND FAMILY MINISTER | I hope this week has been a great time for all our church family as you celebrate Thanksgiving. This is one of my favorite times of the year. It is a great time to get together with family and friends and enjoy spending time with each other. Not only am I blessed with a loving family, but I am also blessed with a great church family. I know that several of my articles in the past have dealt with my church family; however, I can never stress enough the importance of being a part of one. They are always there during the good times and during the bad times.
FROM OUR PASTOR | Are you ready for Thanksgiving? I am! I love this holiday! Some of my fondest memories involve going to my grandmother’s farm for Thanksgiving. I’ve always enjoyed the simple concept of thanking God for His wonderful goodness. I like having the whole holiday season ahead to anticipate. I look forward to Thanksgiving every year.
