FROM OUR FAMILY AND MUSIC MINISTER | One of the strongest leaders in the Bible was Moses. Moses was born Jewish, and as an infant, was put into a basket by his mother to save his life. He was found by found Pharaoh’s daughter, who adopted him and raised him in the palace. However, his life took a turn when he killed a slave master and fled. Moses then became a farmer and got married with kids; but when he was around 80 years old, God called on Moses to be used as a vessel to save the Israelites.

From our Family and Music Minister | If you read my article a few weeks ago, I talked about our youth engaging in an adventure course during camp. To make it through the course, they had to stay focused on the obstacles and not how high they were above the ground. After the youth finished the regular adventure course, the company offered for them to do the extreme course at no extra charge.
FROM OUR PASTOR | How we need Godās guidance in these days! Never before have we faced such a deliberate campaign of lies, misinformation and propaganda. We desperately need to seek and follow the Lordās guidance. The consequences of not following the Lord are frightening.
FROM OUR FAMILY AND MUSIC MINISTER | Several years back, at summer camp, we took our youth to an adventure course. Before you begin the course, they put you in a harness, and they connect you to a safety line. After you start, there are only two ways to get off the course without completely going through it. A staff member climbs out to you and connects another line to you and lowers you to the ground while everyone waits, or if you have not gone too far, you can backtrack to the start if no one else is behind you.
FROM OUR PASTOR | Is fear preventing you from following the Lord? Perhaps God has clearly shown you a direction He wants you to go, but you are too scared to follow Him! It may be that God wants you to quit a particular activity or leave some setting, but you feel secure in that place. You may feel that Godās leading requires you to āgo against the currentā ā maybe even alone. Such realization has caused you to pull back.
FROM OUR FAMILY AND MUSIC MINISTER | When I was growing up, I had a curious mind. I wanted to know how things work, especially on the inside. I was known to take things apart just to see the inside. Itās fair to say that I got in trouble more than once for not being able to put whatever I took apart back together again. A few weeks ago, Edgar was tearing down the barn behind the house I grew up in, which brought back memories of me taking things apart.
From Our Pastor | One of the worst mistakes we can make as believers is to become comfortable or complacent about our spiritual condition. We can become casual about sinful patterns or habits by rationalizing āafter all, Iām not perfect.ā It is easy not to pursue spiritual growth and maturity aggressively by thinking āIāll never be some āspiritual great.āā Such thinking makes us comfortable at our current spiritual level.
FROM OUR FAMILY AND MUSIC MINISTER | Since the creation of time, God has wanted us to desire a close personal relationship with Him. His arms are wide open to pick us up and carry us if we reach out and ask. Even when we have sinned against Him, His arms are still waiting for us. We see in Genesis a picture of the great love that God has for His children even when we follow paths not pleasing to Him.
