Reminder: No Wednesday Evening Activities Tonight
Drop off your Christmas Post Cards
Start working on your Christmas Cards. The Christmas Post Office will open on Sunday morning, November 26. If you would like to send Christmas cards to church members who live in Ashburn, drop them off and let us sort and distribute them for you. Donations to the post office will go towards shipping and items for Operation Christmas Child Boxes.
The drop-off box is located outside of Jonathan’s Office.
Thank You from Operation Christmas Child
I want to thank each one of you for your support of Operation Christmas Child. Your willingness to pack boxes with love and care reflects a ministering heart.
I would also like to thank those who volunteered their time to run the relay center. Your hard work ensured that the boxes were transported smoothly and safely to their destination.
Thanks to your generosity, thousands of children around the world will experience the joy of receiving a gift this Christmas and being exposed to the Gospel message. Your kindness and compassion will make a real difference in their lives.

Thank You, Church Congregation
Thank you so much for spending your Sunday afternoon and helping us decorate the church for the Christmas season. I am so thankful we have a faithful congregation who is always willing to lend a hand! A big thank you also to the hostess committee for providing lunch for us! It was delicious and the perfect kickstart to our afternoon.
With love,
Sami Mastrario

From Our Family and Music Minister
I hope this week has been a great time for all our church family as you celebrate Thanksgiving. This is one of my favorite times of the year. It is a great time to get together with family and friends and enjoy spending time with each other. Not only am I blessed with a loving family, but I am also blessed with a great church family. I know that several of my articles in the past have dealt with my church family. However, I can never stress enough the importance of being a part of one. They are always there during the good times and the bad.
A strong church family can help you through many seasons of your life. They can help you through the loss of a loved one or sickness in your family. I have seen this firsthand in several situations. When I was in need, my church family was there. I have had out-of-town relatives comment on how impressed they were when they came for funerals or to visit someone in the hospital and how well we were looked after.
Not only can a church family help you in times of grief, but more importantly, during a time when we as Christians turn away from our Heavenly Father. We have a great pastor, and I am so blessed to serve with him and the past staff from whom I have learned a great deal. Even though we have a strong leadership team, I have had many other church members help me during times of weakness and doubt. I must admit, sometimes it is a little overwhelming with the number of adopted parents I have obtained over the years. Looking back, I wouldn’t trade them for anything in the world.
I hope your mind is full of great stories about your church family. As a church member, I also hope you take the time to be a Christian example to someone in our church. Find someone with whom you can laugh and cry to take under your wing. There is no greater blessing than knowing you have helped make someone’s life better in a time of need.
